  • What is BookProspector and what do you do with the items you purchase from us?
    We are a used book company and we are going to try to resell the items we buy from you.  Many times we are able to resell the items for a small profit and other times we are unable to resell them.

  • How is there no financial obligation on my part and how is it that you are even able to pay for shipping?
    We are taking a risk when we do purchase an item from you and we are hoping to be able to resell the items for a small profit.  Also, we hope by reselling some of the items purchased from you to recoup our shipping costs and other expenses.

  • How do you decide which books to accept and how do you decide the offering price?
    The software's decision to purchase an item from you is derived from many factors.  Some of these factors include how many of the item we already have in stock, the demand for an item, and also in some cases the item's condition.  Although we will not accept every item you enter, we believe that this service will benefit you greatly.  Most of the time you will be able to instantly and easily sell many of your items for usually a higher price than you would normally.

  • How and when do I get paid?
    Your account balance will be paid in full on the 10th of every month for all of the items that we have received by the 1st of the month.  After we have received the items we will then issue you a check no later than the 10th of every month.
